Small town, big dreams. Fit Cake gives advice in Skórzewo

Julia Stanik and Joanna Janicka proved that if you want to, you can make your own business dreams come true in no time at all. It took less than three months from the idea to the opening of the Fit Cake cake shop in Skórzewo - a story that shows that determination and the right support can translate into spectacular success.

It all started with the keto diet

The story of this venture began quite mundanely - with the keto diet that the two partners started last year.

"We were looking for healthy sweets in Poznań and that's where we came across Fit Cake," recalls Julia Stanik, who is a chef by training. She was the first to see the potential in this business idea. As it turned out, not only did she see it, but she moved into action in no time.

From decision to implementation - express pace

The speed at which the plans were implemented was impressive. "A week later we already had the keys to the premises, and the next week we were able to equip it," - Julia recounts.

A real stroke of luck turned out to be a coincidence. A pair of enterprising women bought back the equipment from another patisserie which had ceased operations. "It was a shot in the arm," admits Joanna Janicka. "There are a lot of people in Skórzew who know the brand and don't have to travel miles to get to Poznań."

Skórzewo loves healthy sweets

The reaction from the local community has exceeded their expectations. "There is a lot of interest. We have regular customers, but also some who come for the first time and most of them stay." - enthuses Julia.

Skórzewa residents quickly appreciated the opportunity to buy healthy desserts without having to make trips to larger cities. Customer loyalty is built not only through the quality of the products, but also through the owners' personal approach to each customer.

Support from the brand owner - the key to success

Both partners frankly admit that they had no previous experience of running a business. "Therefore, a big nod to the owners of the brand, who have shown us great support," - Joanna emphasises. "They are very positive and you can see that this business is all their heart."

"Julia and Joanna's story is a perfect example of how franchising can support people starting out in business," - comments Rafal Kościuk, owner of the Fit Cake brand. "Their determination and openness to learning, combined with our experience, have produced fantastic results. Skórzewo shows that healthy sweets have an audience not only in big cities, but wherever people care about their health."

Franchising with values

It is the support of the franchisor that has proved crucial to the success of the Skórzewski outlet. As the owners emphasise, Fit Cake is no ordinary business. "It is a franchise with values," - Julia Stanik concludes.

An inspiring example for others

Julia and Joanna's story shows that with the right support and determination, it is possible to realise the dream of your own business even without previous experience. Their Skórzewski outlet has become further proof that small towns have great potential for innovative catering concepts and that residents are increasingly willing to reach for healthy alternatives to traditional sweets.

"The ladies' story shows that the best way to franchise business is through the product the brand offers. FIT CAKE is the way from product through transparent and genuine relationships to business for years to come," - says Rafal Kościuk.

The success of the patisserie in Skórzew proves that dreams of owning your own business can come true anywhere - all it takes is courage, determination and the right support. Julia and Joanna have proved that a small town can be a great place to dream big.
