When the lady from the Foundation for Children and Adults with Diabetes called us in August, we knew immediately that this was no ordinary order. It was more than that - a chance to support people for whom our sugar-free cakes are not a dietary fad, but a real need.
On 13 September we supported Foundation for Children and Adults with Diabetes at the grand opening of their headquarters in Bialystok. And it was one of those days that reminds us why we do what we do.
Our mission meets their need
From the very beginning of Fit Cake, our aim has been to create sweets that can be enjoyed by everyone - regardless of health restrictions. Our sugar-free cakes and desserts are not only an alternative for people on a diet, but, above all, an opportunity to enjoy the taste for diabetics who often have to give up traditional sweets.
When we were contacted by the Foundation for Children and Adults with Diabetes, we knew straight away that this was a collaboration we wanted to be involved in. Their work on behalf of children and adults with type 1 diabetes is extremely important, and we can bring our best expertise to it - creating delicious, healthy sweets.
Grand opening of the Foundation's premises
13 September 2025 is a special day for the Foundation - the official opening of their premises at 13 Rynek Kościuszki Street in Białystok. This is a place where wards and their families will be able to meet, where help and support will be provided, where a community of people struggling with similar challenges will be created.
On this occasion, Fit Cake will prepare two unique cakes for about 30 people each - completely sugar-free and gluten-free, of course. Why gluten-free? Because type 1 diabetes often goes hand in hand with celiac disease, and our aim is for everyone attending this joyful event to enjoy a sweet touch to the day.
More than just cakes
Our support is not just about the delivery of cakes. In the spirit of corporate social responsibility, we want to be present at this important event, also sharing our promotional materials and small gifts for the children. This is our small contribution to building awareness that healthy sweets can be just as delicious as traditional ones.
