Bialystok-based franchise Fit Cake, which specialises in sugar-free desserts, is continuing its international expansion. Following successful market entries in Spain, Romania, Sweden, Austria and Canada, the brand has launched its first café in Germany. The Berlin outpost at Bismarckstraße 38 has already attracted customers looking for healthy alternatives to traditional sweets since its opening.
The Berlin café has been very popular since its opening. Above all, customers appreciate the opportunity to enjoy sweets without remorse. The menu includes gluten and sugar-free cakes, energy bars and bespoke cakes to suit different dietary needs.
A family business with a mission
Behind the success of Berlin Fit Cake is the family team of franchisees Klaudia and Rebal. A shared passion for healthy eating and the desire to introduce the Polish brand to a foreign market brought them together in an ambitious venture.
- 'Fit Cake is not just a business for me, but also a way to promote a healthy lifestyle in my country,' says Klaudia. - Germans are increasingly interested in sugar-free and gluten-free alternatives, and we wanted to fill this gap in the market. Our venue is a place where everyone, regardless of their dietary needs, finds something delicious and healthy. I am proud to be part of this revolution.
Berlin location attracts customers
Fit Cake in Berlin can be found in the Charlottenburg district, which is famous for its dynamic character and high frequency of foot traffic. The location at Bismarckstraße 38 was chosen not by chance - it is easily accessible to both locals and tourists visiting the German capital.
The interior of the café combines the brand's Polish roots with a minimalist, modern style that appealed to German customers. The space has been designed to be welcoming to people with different dietary needs, while also encouraging a longer stay.
Responding to growing market needs
Opening in Germany is a natural step in the development of Fit Cake. German consumers are increasingly paying attention to what they eat, looking for alternatives to traditional sweets. Products without sugar, gluten or lactose are no longer a niche - they have become a real need for a large part of the population.
- Entering the German market is a huge challenge for us, but also an opportunity to win new customers who value healthy eating habits. We are sure that our offer will perfectly match their expectations," says Rafał Kościuk, owner of the Fit Cake brand.
A wide range for different needs
The Berlin café offers a full cross-section of products familiar from other Fit Cake locations. Customers can enjoy popular gluten and sugar-free cakes, reach for energy bars ideal for a snack during the day or order a cake for a special occasion. All products are adapted to different diets - there are options for people with food intolerances, vegan alternatives or suggestions for those on a ketogenic diet.
Global ambitions of the Polish brand
Germany is the next step in Fit Cake's international expansion, but certainly not the last. The brand is steadily building its position on the European market, showing that Polish companies can compete effectively with international players.
- Our goal is to build a global community of healthy sweets lovers. Each new opening is an opportunity for us to inspire a change in eating habits around the world," adds Rafał Kościuk.
Fit Cake from Białystok proves that local brands can be internationally successful without losing their identity. The Berlin café is not just a place to eat delicious and healthy desserts - it is also an embassy of Polish entrepreneurship and innovation in the heart of Europe.
